During the course of the research mission, the scientists at Palmer Research station are participating in a series of Live Calls with the school students in Project CONVERGE. These calls are designed to enable students to ask scientists questions about the research mission and working in Antarctica, as well as to support the classroom efforts of the educators participating in Project CONVERGE.
Each classroom will participate in one 30-minute live call. During a call students talk with the scientists about conducting field work, conducting research down at Palmer Research Station, how the research mission is going, what challenges and successes the researchers are having, and additional questions pertaining to the research mission and/or the students’ investigations.
We are using ElluminateLive! as the platform for the live calls. If you are interested in learning more about ElluminateLive! visit their Support page or review the set-up instructions that we put together for the CONVERGE call and the Audio Setup Wizard.
