Have been busy selecting interns for our NSF REU intern program. We received over 200 applications for the 10 positions- a LOT of bright young people! Makes the decisions very hard……I narrow it down to 5-6 per mentor and then let each mentor pick their intern.

Wow, that’s quite the applicant pool. But then, there are just so many cool thing happening at MOTE. I wonder how many of them realize how sunny Florida is in the summer? That might be one way to whittle the field down 😉

Waiting to hear about that MERHAB porposal we submitted- should be any day now. Would be a great group of folks to work with!
