I have been involved in marine biology and oceanography for many years and have started The Zephyr Education Foundation It is a hands-on program designed to deliver broader impacts and public outreach for research projects to K-16 students We are based in Woods Hole and currently draw classes from Massachusetts but intend to expand our reach to include research projects and students from other areas. My Teaching Interests

Provide grade 5 to college students with the opportunity for hands-on marine science awareness and literacy. The best place to do this is on a boat in Vineyard Sound taking benthic samples plankton tows and participating in oceanographic measurement activities.
