Live Calls

During the course of the cruise, the scientists and crew aboard the Nathaniel B. Palmer will participate in a series of Live Calls with middle school students back in the United States. These calls are designed to support the classroom efforts of the educators who participated in last summer’s Ross Sea teacher workshop.

Each call will feature a quick update on the cruise, and will then offer students an opportunity to ask questions about the research being conducted at sea. Recordings of each call will be posted here shortly after the call is completed, so everyone can listen in on the action.
