Microalgae Bloom Activity

This activity comes from Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, and is a great way to get your students up and invovled in the drama that occurs during an algae bloom, harmful or natural. This might be a good starting activity to spring into a focus on hypoxia, or discussion about maintaining balances in an ecosystem.
