Professional Bio	I have been at the MATE Center since 1997. I direct the center and conduct workforce research related to ocean and geospatial technologies. Currently I am filling is as department chair for the Marine Science and Technology program at Monterey Peninsula College and I teach courses in seaflooring mapping GIS career awareness and the Earth and marine sciences (as time allows).
